Copyright and legal deposit in a changing environment
This seminar will facilitate the understanding of changes to copyright and
legal deposit following the legislation introduced in 2003. It will examine
the theoretical and practical aspects of accommodating these changes in the
form of workshops. Delegates will gain an insight into current initiatives
and future developments, as well as having the opportunity to discuss
practical solutions to the challenges faced. A tour of The British Library
will round off the day.

This session will offer the latest information on UK copyright and database
law, as well as reviewing the impact of the 2003 legislation and the
European Directive. It will give delegates the opportunity to better
understand the implications of these changes.
11.15 The practicalities of copyright: an interactive workshop

Delegates will have the opportunity to review and discuss examples, issues
