Safeguarding heritage at risk: disaster management in UK archives, libraries and museums. Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded project.
Professor Graham Matthews, of Liverpool John Moores University's School of Business Information, is pleased to announce the commencement of the AHRC funded project (March 2005 - May 2006), Safeguarding heritage at risk: disaster management in UK archives, libraries and museums. The project will review disaster management practice in the UK and abroad, and look for lessons from other fields such as business and computing, and events such as September 11th 2001. It aims to provide an up to date overview of good practice and resources that will inform policy makers and offer practical advice for managers.
