You might like to check out GNU Typist, which is open source (so it's free and you can do pretty
much what you like with it in terms of distribution etc). The page also lists links to other free
typing programs:

Hi
We are looking into getting a programme/software to enable our students to
teach themselves touch typing. We are looking for a CD ROM/DVD that we can
either lend out to students or install on one of our computers for multi
use.
Has anyone looked into a product like this or have experience of the type
of licences required. Does anyone have a product like this installed at the
moment? I would appreciate any advice anyone has to offer.
Thanks
Mandy
