Hi Mandy,
One of the further education colleges I worked for a while back used
Accu-Type on the network. Colleagues who used it said they found it useful
- it now seems to be available as a download, prices vary according to the
number of users. The URL for Accu-Type is
http://www.learntotype.com/index.htm
Other lis-linkers may know of something better/ cheaper though!
Regards,

Subject: Electronic programmes for teaching typing skills
Hi
We are looking into getting a programme/software to enable our students to
teach themselves touch typing. We are looking for a CD ROM/DVD that we can
either lend out to students or install on one of our computers for multi
use.
Has anyone looked into a product like this or have experience of the type
of licences required. Does anyone have a product like this installed at the
moment? I would appreciate any advice anyone has to offer.
Thanks
Mandy
