INNOVATIVE USE OF PHYSICAL SPACE FOR EFFECTIVE KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

This practical workshop will give library and information professionals an opportunity
to explore creative approaches to make effective and innovative use of their existing working space.
During the event participants will be encouraged to think afresh about the nature of space. They will be introduced to space design skills and will work on practical design case studies.

SPECIAL NOTE:
This workshop is not about how to design a library but is rather more about the interaction between
physical space, knowledge sharing and knowledge creation.
This workshop will requires a small amount of preparation and research.
WORKSHOP LEADER: ANGELA DOVE
Angela writes, researches and consults on the interaction between physical space and knowledge
management. She has run workshops for library and information professionals in service design, and has
six years experience of realised projects: including the health sector, higher education, major government
departments and an international media corporation.
