If you're interested in your students having legal access to classical
music why not subscribe to the Classical Music Library through the
agreement negotiated by Eduserv Chest. You can find details at
http://www.eduserv.org.uk/chest/datasets/classical/. The licence is a
concurrent user licence but also provides for individuals to purchase
downloaded music or custom CDs directly from Classical.

Subject: iTunes on campus
Hello
Here at the University Centre Barnsley (part of the University of
Huddersfield) we have been discussing (legal) ways to allow our students
to
access music online.
Are there any Higer Education libraries out there who have experience of
using Apples 'iTunes on campus' or know of any comprehensive online
music
collections.
Any information gratefully received and a Happy Christmas to you all.
