Does anyone have any fairly recent experience of moving an entire library into temporary accomodation whilst new premesis are built?
We will be moving our library of around 27,000 items at some point in the not too distant future. I would be most grateful if anyone could share some information regarding, for example, companies used, timescales involved, use of temporary staff, any major problems you encountered etc. There is information in lis-link archives regarding crate hire, but nothing recent on moving a whole library, including computing facilities and offices.
