APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING
Further to our recent enquiry to the lis-link discussion list regarding
demand for an email list about Children's Services/Children Act 2004,
Janet May-Bowles and Mark Norman at the National Foundation for
Educational Research Library have set up a new list called
lis-childrens-services.
This Act is potentially the most significant piece of legislation for
children and young people since the 1944 Education Act and we hope this
list will be a useful forum for members to share ideas, knowledge of
resources, expertise and good practice to support your users (eg,
researchers, students, policy makers, practitioners).
If you are working in any of the subject areas listed below, we invite
you to join and participate in the list.
Education, childcare
Social work, Sociology, social and public policy
Youth justice and crime
Healthcare
Youth support services
