Has preservation come of age? 21 years after the Ratcliffe report <http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/byorg/abbey/an/an09/an09-3/an09-311.html> this conference will look at how library and archive preservation has developed since 1984, and will present a new analysis of preservation needs as determined by the NPO's programme of preservation assessment surveys. Speakers and participants will debate how collection strategies can address these needs.
