Cataloguer (Part-time)
This is a fixed-term post available for 18 months.
This post is based at the Bretton Hall Campus. The campus is some 20 miles from the centre of Leeds in a semi-rural location with limited access by public transport.
This post involves the reclassification of stock in the Bretton Hall campus library into the Leeds classification scheme. The work involves lifting and handling stock.
You should have a degree or relevant professional qualification (or substantial relevant experience). Knowledge of MARC and AACR2 would be highly desirable. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be confident in using IT. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Foreign language skills would also be desirable.
Grade: 5 (£16,452 - £19,073 pro rata )
Hours: 18.25 hours per week.
