Description: Permanent contract.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic information professional to help us shape the future of library and information services to Leeds healthcare community.
You will manage specific projects as part of the implementation of the Leeds NHS library development strategy, and will provide professional support to NHS librarians across the city in the development, promotion and delivery of services to the health and social care community.
You will:
*have considerable experience of library and information work, preferably within a public sector environment
*have a clear understanding of current library, information management, and IT issues
*be able to demonstrate project management experience
*have excellent communication skills
*be able to work across organisational boundaries.
Relevant experience in the health sector would be of benefit.
This post is managed by Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust on behalf of the Leeds Library and Information Services Programme Board, and will work across the whole Leeds NHS community.
