Do you value the importance of learning and knowledge sharing?
The JISC funded PROWE (Personal Repositories Online Wiki Environment)
project will provide an innovative communication environment to support
learning amongst part-time remote tutors on distance education
programmes. The Open University is leading the project in partnership
with the University of Leicester to address the practical issues of building
a community of practice through researching informal and formal
exchange mechanisms.
You will be responsible for the administration and co-ordination of this
project. You will work closely with the Project Team to deliver the project
plan and activities. There will be regular travel to other areas of the UK to
attend meetings.
Educated to degree level, preferably in teaching or from a training
background, you will have at least 2 years' technical experience of project
planning and qualitative research. You will have a proven record of
innovative development, as well as knowledge of project management
methodologies. You will have excellent IT, interpersonal and organisational
skills. Good communication and presentation skills are essential.
