APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING
The National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) has redesigned
its website www.nfer.ac.uk after nearly a year of development. The key
improvements are clearer navigation, more advanced search facilities,
more project and document information, ability to change the font size
and an online bookshop.
All of our research has been classified into research areas enabling
users to find related items more easily. You can browse the research

We also have a new feature called "Your NFER" for key user groups which
include librarians, researchers and students. These pages bring together
relevant information and services from across the website for these

Our homepage remains the same so if you have any links to it from your
intranet, website or library catalogue you do not need to change it.

You can use the advanced search to find publications. This facility now
includes searching by research area, author and document type
(report/book; summary; research in progress; conference paper etc) and
also downloadable documents which will be particularly useful for
researchers and students. The advanced search is at

Some older documents have not been transferred from the previous
