WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH PAPER EPHEMERA? MANAGING PAPER EPHEMERA IN LIBRARY & ARCHIVE COLLECTIONS
This study day is aimed at librarians, archivists and other professionals who have responsibility for paper ephemera, such as flyers, posters, press-cuttings, publicity material, etc, in their collections. The event will include an introduction to the history of ephemera, plus practical sessions on conservation and preservation, cataloguing and using and promoting your collection. There will also be a tour of the London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) conservation studios.
Venue: The London Metropolitan Archives, 40 Northampton Road, London,

12:15 - 13:00 Managing & Cataloguing Ephemera Collections. Stephen Lowther,
Wellcome Institute.
13:00 - 14:30 Lunch, including optional tours of the LMA Conservation Studios

VA Committee
