Located next to the Shakespeare Birthplace in the centre of Stratford, the
Library collects printed materials, manuscripts and ephemera about
Shakespeare's life, works and impact. The Special Collections of early
printed books include not only a copy of the First Folio and many other
early editions, but also dramas by his contemporaries, sources for the
plays, and works he or his patrons would have known.
