b) PsycINFO (also PsycBOOKS and PsycEXTRA)
-----------------------------------------------
Sites currently licensed for PsycINFO are reminded that their licences terminate next week, on 31st July. To ensure continuity of service (particularly if you are changing service provider) you need to return the new licence forms immediately. All details and licence forms are available at <http://www.eduserv.org.uk/chest/datasets/apa/>.
You should return the following forms:
* Contact and Payment information form - one completed form.
* APA licence form - two completed licence forms. You need to complete page 1 and initial pages 2 to 7 on both copies as a sign that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions therein and all pages of the licence should be returned to Chest (Not to APA). This licence is not required for PsycEXTRA. Please Note: This Agreement is not based on Chest Standard Terms and Conditions. Please make sure you read and accept the APA Licence Terms before subscribing.
* Service Provision licences - two completed Service Provision licence forms.
You may use more than one Service Provider and although you will be charged the service provision fee for all those chosen there will be only a single data fee.
* Purchase Order to cover both the Data fees and Service Provision fees.
c) EBSCO Databases

Licence forms for the new CSA Collections Agreement which starts on 1st September are available at <http://www.eduserv.org.uk/chest/datasets/all-csa/>. There are two different forms, each of which should be completed in duplicate for your chosen option:
* The form to subscribe to the CSA Collections. This covers the 4 separate collections covering Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, Technology, and Natural Sciences. You may subscribe to one or more of the collections, with discounts if you subscribe to more than one.
* The form to subscribe to the CSA Proprietary Databases. You need to use this licence if you have received a quote for the Core Collection and all the CSA Proprietary Databases and are subscribing under either of these options.
e) Call for expressions of interest in Consult GEE
------------------------------------------------
Consult GEE is a 24/7 online and telephone information service that provides legal expertise and best practice guidance across a wide range of subject areas. Eduserv Chest would like to hear from sites who might be interested in the new Education Human Resources service <http://www.consultgee.co.uk/education/hr/overview/>. The service provides a single source of human resources best practice guidance and employment law expertise plus specific guidance relating to the practice of HR in the education sector.
The service will be of interest to HR professionals and students studying the management of human resources or working towards legal qualifications.
Athens functionality will be available from early 2006.
The service provides coverage of key issues such as managing staff contracts, pay, benefits, managing changing terms and conditions, managing organisational change, dismissal & redundancy, equal pay legislation, discrimination policies and health and safety. The database is updated daily and includes case material, legislation and news focusing on further and higher education issues.
Key features:
As well as a comprehensive, searchable reference database, subscribers to Consult GEE Education Human Resources are able to make use of the many additional features, including:
* Telephone advice line
* Daily updates and alerts
* Cases and legislation
* News service

* Model documents and policies
* Benchmarking report
* Discussion forum
Key benefits:

If you have e-book subscriptions what are they and who are they with?
What would you like to have subscriptions to, are there any particular vendors or e-books you would like to see in a Chest agreement?
What are your current access arrangements and what would you like to have?
How will the e-books be preserved or archived?
Do the current pricing models fit your needs?
What licensing issues do you feel need to be addressed?
Please email <mailto:[log in to unmask]> with any comments and suggestions. Feedback is gratefully received and we would be pleased to hear from you even if it is just to register your interest in this area.
