London Metropolitan University is pleased to announce a new M.Sc. in
Digital Information Management, open now for part-time and full-time entry
in October 2005.
The M.Sc. Digital Information Management has been developed to meet the
needs of a changing information profession after consultation with
employers across the sectors. With a strong emphasis on both theoretical
foundations, and practical skills for managing digital media, digital
information, and digital resources, the programme aims to further the
information profession in the digital age. The course has also been
developed to teach the traditional skills of the information profession,
as a first professional qualification, and CILIP accreditation is being
sought.
Alongside the M.Sc., post-graduate certificates, and post-graduate
diplomas in are also available. These may be of particular interest as a
part of continuing professional development.
