The Graduate School of Informatics at the University of Strathclyde in
partnership with the Career Development Group (Scottish Division) are
offering a series of one-day courses in central Glasgow in late June and

The courses on offer are:
- 'Connecting to the Internet' - Monday 27th June 2005
- 'Researching your users' - Friday 1st July 2005
- 'Basic Web Site Design' - Wednesday 6th July 2005
- 'Hitchhikers Guide to Science Fiction' - Thursday 7th July2005
- 'Introduction to Metadata' - Date: Friday July 8th 2005
- 'Digital Libraries: Design Access & Use' - Monday 11th July 2005
- 'Working with digital images' - Date: Tuesday July 12th 2005
- 'Cataloguing' - Wednesday 13th July 2005
The courses will be delivered by academic staff from the Department of
Computer and Information Sciences, and all attendees will receive
certificates to confirm their attendance.
Each course will run from 10-4 each day, with buffet lunch and refreshments
included for a cost of £120 per place. The courses are fully bookable via
