Hello all
At Edgehill we are looking at redesigning our Help Desk. Currently, we
have two ordinary wooden desks with PCs on where we offer help and advice
as a fully converged IT/Media/Library Help Desk.
We have some conventional plans to replace this with a new curved desk but
are wondering about completely doing away with a 'desk' (barrier) and
wonder:
a) has anyone out there got any alternatives, eg pods, islands etc?
b) if so, do the staff and students like them or not? What are the
advantages / disadvantages?
c) could you email any photos of alternatives to the standard desk format
please?
