Dear colleagues,
TASI (Technical Advisory Service for Images) still has a few places
available on this workshop:
***Digital Rights Management - Practical Approaches to Securing and
Protecting Copyright***
Bristol, Fri 29th April
The workshop tackles this tricky issue from both sides: obtaining
permission to use images; and protecting images online, including
controlling access and watermarking.
And coming up in May:
***Image Optimisation - Correcting and Preparing Images***
Bristol, Fri 6th May
Introduces skills required for correcting digital images and
preparing them for future use. This workshop will show suitable
techniques and warn against those that can degrade image quality.
***Image Capture - Beginners***
Bristol, Thu 12th May
Provides an introduction and overview of digital imaging, with
practical exercises using a scanner and digital camera.
***Image Capture - Intermediate***
Bristol, Fri 13th May
For those who have some image capture experience or have attended the
Beginners workshop, this hands-on workshop introduces more advanced
scanning and image optimisation techniques as well as monitor
calibration.
