Hello
Is anyone else experiencing problems with OUP titles expiring and
needing to be reactivated on different sub numbers? I thought we'd got
over this a couple of years ago but I find it totally unacceptable that
journals to which we have valid 2005 subscriptions (and paid for) have
been 'expired' like this. We have more than 80 titles from this
publisher. Now, I'd love to have the time (never mind the inclination)
to reactivate each one but my question is this - why should I when other
providers manage to extend access without inconvenience to their
customers?
I'd love to hear OUP's justification for this archaic process,
especially now they have the print/premium model which you would have
thought would have improved things re journal access.
Best wishes
