The way scholars work and communicate is being transformed; advances in
technology and increasing demands on time and money are driving changes in
the way scholarly communication operates. If publishers - large and small,
commercial and not-for-profit - are to survive and flourish in the future
they must understand and grasp the opportunities ahead.
