Hello,
Some months ago, I made a request on this list for any info that would
help me to get an institutional subscription to Le Monde online, and
several others expressed an interest in this too.
I'm pleased to say that we now have such a subscription. It is from
CEDROM-SNi, who produce the CD-ROMs we used to buy. The interface is
called Europress BPE and is specifically aimed at public and academic
libraries. The BPE interface can be used to access more than 40 French
and French Language newspapers and magazines, on a "pick and mix" basis.
They do have a minimum spend, so we ended up taking Le Monde and Le
Figaro. Access is via IP address (or they did offer the possibility of
password access). There are extra costs if you want more than one
simultaneous user (tiered according to numbers).
More info at: http://www.cedrom-sni.com/ (if you don't mind reading
French). Apologies if you know all this already!
Best wishes,
Kate
