Project & Communications Officer
Salary £25,600 to £32,400 pa incl.
Fixed term contract for 12 months from January 2006
The VERSIONS Project, funded by the JISC and based at the Library of LSE, will develop standards on versions, for use by open access digital repositories when making available author versions of journal articles and other research papers. This is a non-technical role, responsible for both internal and external communication about the project, and for evaluation of economics researchers' needs and their current practices regarding retention of different versions of their own work.
You will be a graduate, or equivalent, probably with qualifications or relevant experience in academic librarianship, publishing or academic administration. Experience of writing reports and user documentation is desirable. Some communications/PR experience would be an advantage.
