~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SAGE Publications is pleased to announce
a change in our backfile policy for our library customers.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear all - In response to an earlier posting, I am happy to confirm a
change in our backfile policy for our library customers.
From 2006 we will be providing access to all volumes back to a fixed date
of 1999 to all our Customers with current E-Access and/or Combined
institutional subscriptions. Access will be available as long as the
library has a paid E-access or Combined institutional subscription.
Customers who have purchased volumes (which included an online component)
in 1999 through 2005 retain perpetual online access to those volumes
regardless of the current status of their subscriptions. Full details will
follow shortly.
SAGE is committed to serving the needs of our markets and we believe that
this change in our backfile policy illustrates our willingness to listen
and act on the ongoing feedback provided by the SAGE Library Advisory
Boards.
Our current policy may be found at: http://www.sagepub.com/eaccess.aspx?sc=1
Do contact me personally if you have any questions regarding this
announcement.
Kind regards, Karine
