Please answer the list on this one. Currently, we are collecting
statistics and have students merging stats from different sources into
one spreadsheet by journal title, but this does not differentiate direct
access from aggregated access (such as fulltext from an EbscoHost or
Gale database) or current access from embargoed or archival-only access.
It's interesting for collection development use but not esp. valuable
for many of the surveys we complete.

Subject: Current applications for electronic journal and database
usagestatistics
Dear all,
I am currently involved in the collation and dissemination of usage
statistics within our institution. Could I ask what procedures and
applications other institutions currently have in place?
Is anyone considering purchasing a commercial solution to usage
statistics collection and dissemination?
Many thanks,
Ann
