to have had the opportunity to evaluate and improve your current interview
techniques, and prepare for those "difficult questions"
About Lawraine Wood:
Lawraine has spent over 18 years working as an information professional.
After 5 years of teaching information management and career development at
the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, she set up her own training and
consultancy business in 1997. Following relocation to Manchester in 1998,
the clients have been mainly public, academic and government libraries, but
also have included occasional assignments in the corporate sector. Lawraine
has kept her hand in as a lecturer in a part-time capacity at Manchester
Metropolitan University. As well as having responsibility for students'
career development, Lawraine has had a lot of experience of being "the
other side" of the interviewing desk, especially in her work for Sue Hill
