Hello All
As part of the Document Delivery pilot the data from the LIHNN Union
List of journals is being uploaded to the Dialog Website. Once the old
data has been uploaded each LIHNN library will need to download their
data in Excel format and update the information to reflect local
holdings. This is important to be done as soon as possible as your local
users will see the information as soon as it is on the Dialog system.
When all LIHNN libraries have checked their data it is planned that
Dialog will send the data to E-tempest who will produce a LIHNN Union
List.
I will periodically inform people via the LIHNN list when their data
has been uploaded to Dialog. We will start with NHS libraries and finish
with Academic Libraries such as the UCLAN Nursing libraries whom may not
have direct access to the admin tools in eLinks.
I have drawn up some instructions attached in a PDF file, Ingrid will
also post the document to Aditus. Each Library will need to request a
password from Ingrid Evans at HCLU.
Any questions feel free to call .......... But not today as I'm
