Dear colleagues,
I am about to run a series of tests to check the fitness of a
couple new Resource Brokers for the South East Europe (SEE) region.
The effort is aimed to stress-tests the RBs themselves,
both to validate their integrity as well as operational capacity,
at an international level (local and regional seem fine already).
The jobs will be both lightweight (scripts) or something more heavy.
In either case they will have a maximum duration of 1 or 2 hours although
most typically, they will finish off within 5 to 10 minutes or even less.
There will be about 5 runs spread over a week's time, and
I guesstimate a total consumption of cpu-time in the order of three-digits.
It seems to be a good moment now, since may queues worldwide are empty:
http://gridice2.cnaf.infn.it:50080/gridice/site/site.php
I will mostly hunt weirdness with various CEs and other admins there
and hope that both sides we will have the time to identify what went on.
If you have a nice reason to exclude your queues from this effort,
feel free to let me know, it's pretty easy really ;-)
tia,
Fotis
