The easiest thing to do on SL is to add the two http paths to
your /etc/yum.conf and
yum install lcg-WN-torque lcg-CAs
and forget the install_node script. This will then pull in tkinter from
the OS distribution.
Maybe of interest in this area a wrote a wiki entry a couple of weeks
back on how to mirror the LCG release.
