I can confirm that this was a problem with the apt-get repository
- globus-config-0.20-5.lcg1 had been added (incorrectly). This has now
been fixed.
To install the correct version, please do the following;
# apt-get update
# rpm -e --nodeps globus-config
# apt-get install globus-config
