Dear Operation people
In the official LCG-2_3_0 release there isn't the new RPM
edg-rgma-apel-3.4.40-1.noarch.rpm but, as you can see in
http://grid-deployment.web.cern.ch/grid-deployment/download/RpmDir_i386-rh73/index-i386-rh73-LCG-2_3_0.html
there are:
edg-lcfg-apel-1.0.9-edg1.noarch.rpm
edg-lcfg-apel-defaults-s1-1.0.9-edg1.noarch.rpm
edg-rgma-apel-3.4.37-1.noarch.rpm
So RCs with the official 2_3_0 RPMs (and without
edg-rgma-apel-3.4.40-1.noarch.rpm) cannot be marked as 'bad sites'.
The italian roc manges sites installed with the LCG-2-3-0 release,
corrections we will be added in the next release.
This is not a critical functionality, e.g. like gram or gridftp or a
security hole, so it should be possible to wait for the next LCG
official release to fix it.
Now it really too burden for the system managers, patch the single rpm,
follow the instructions not alvays easily avilable etc,
As a consequence, the CIC-on-duty should avoid opening any new tasks
about it and close the ones already opene for grid-it sites.
The functionality will be tested and added again when the official
release will include the correct software and its configuration.
Regards
Cristina
