Hi,
If you create your customised script as a patch to the standard
distribution (basically a diff, as you say) and then apply the same patch
to any updated yaim you have a good chance of seeing it work.
If you feel your customisation is of general use, please let us
know via savannah!
And if you'd like a yaim mailing list, you can certainly use
[log in to unmask] for support.
