That's interesting - I've been generating my own account/UID/GID mappings
since LCFG times, and I don't think I've ever seen any specific
requirements on this - nothing turns up in a quick leaf through install
docs back to last July... there's certainly no mention in either
/opt/lcg/yaim/examples/users.conf.README or the users.conf template
itself.
The dteamnnn format just seemed convenient for generating from a script.
OTOH the 2.4.0 release notes say

Of course, with hindsight that indeed doesn't actually say that you can
call the pool accounts whatever you like!
