In the SFT's Apel test the following command is run:
rgma -c "select count(*) from LcgRecords where
ExecutingCE='<CEname>' and MeasurementDate>='<date>'"
where:
CEname - the name of the CE
date - current day - 3 (3 days before the current date)
This sometimes does not return any result usually because the
'Flexible Archiver' is responding too slow.
Here you see an example of the previous behavior:
====
[jlopez@ui jlopez]$ rgma -c "select count(*) from LcgRecords where
ExecutingCE='ce2.egee.cesga.es' and MeasurementDate>='2005-09-30'"
No results returned
====
[jlopez@ui jlopez]$ rgma -c "select count(*) from LcgRecords where
ExecutingCE='ce2.egee.cesga.es' and MeasurementDate>='2005-09-30'"
+----------+
| count(*) |
+----------+
| 0 |
+----------+
1 Rows in set
====
In the second case, if the date were right ;-), you could say that our
site has not published any accounting records from the MeasurentDate
you specified. Then, there is some error in the site and possibly an
error could be raised by SFT (like 'X' with the tip 'sft-apel: empty'
or even better 'sft-apel: not accounting data published during the
last 3 days').
But in the first case, when the command returns 'No results returned',
it is not clear that the problem is in the site and it would be better
to change the SFT error to a warning 'W' with a tip like 'sft-apel:
no results returned by the archiver' or something like that.
Possibly, this could be discussed in ROLLOUT ;-)
Cheers,
Javier
