I thought it was too.

But I get:
~ > /usr/bin/lsb_release -d
Description: Scientific Linux CERN Release 3.0.4 (SL)
I assumed that if it bothers to mention CERN, then this is significant; so
I have
GlueHostOperatingSystemName: Scientific Linux CERN
GlueHostOperatingSystemRelease: 3.0.4
GlueHostOperatingSystemVersion: 3
Are SL and SLC now seen as equivalent, and expected to remain so? Or
should we have e.g.
GlueHostOperatingSystemVersion: SLC3
?
Thanks

(actually, this may be where the discussion ground to a halt last time...)
