That must be a way off though, in 2.6 we don't seem to have the part of
the schema upgrade which allows for multiple SE types, and it also needs
code changes to take notice of it - the new schema is
backward-compatible, but for non-upgraded clients you would still have
to choose to look like either classic or SRM but not both, so even if
it's in 2.7 it won't work properly until every site upgrades.

Unless things have changed recently there's no security on the LRC! When
we do get security I wonder if we need some kind of superuser dteam role
for this kind of thing.

Where was the broadcast sent? The CIC tool is supposed to be able to
send to VO managers.
