we have the same experience here ... as far as I can tell the
purgestorage script has never worked. ever.
let me know if the current 'find' is safe against filename attacks. i
didn't get around to checking yet. you know, put a semicolon in the
file name and then some nasty stuff afterwards, so you do an
exec "rm -f something ; do something nasty"
