Dear all,
I don't know how long this allready happens, but I see problem with
the mail server that hosts the LCG Rollout list and spam filters.
We have a strict filter running which rejects mail from the list now
as the server ictmailer2.itd.rl.ac.uk claims to be a host which has
no nameserver entry:
Jul 26 00:30:55 mail postfix/smtpd[7418]: reject: RCPT from
ictmailer2.itd.rl.ac.uk[130.246.192.57]: 450
<ICTMAILER2.dc.itd.rl.ac.uk>: Helo command rejected: Host not found;
from=<[log in to unmask]>
to=<[log in to unmask]>
Jul 26 00:30:55 mail postfix/smtpd[7262]: reject: RCPT from
ictmailer2.itd.rl.ac.uk[130.246.192.57]: 450
<ICTMAILER2.dc.itd.rl.ac.uk>: Helo command rejected: Host not found;
from=<[log in to unmask]>
to=<[log in to unmask]>
I try to whitelist it now, but I assume that several mail servers/
spam filters with strict rules will tag/reject mails from this host.
Is it possible for the Rutherford people to reconfigure it?
Thanks and best regards,
Torsten
