Dear Steve,
Setting SE_TYPE to srm_v1 for dCache should be correct. However this will
also require you to publish GlueServiceURI object for the SRM interface.
This may be related to this bug:
https://savannah.cern.ch/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=8777
For now it may be necessary to manually modify
/opt/lcg/var/gip/lcg-info-generic.conf to correct this problem.
You should have information similar to that of CERN's dCache server:

Dear Min
We have the same problem at Edinburgh. I've changed our classic SE to
SE_TYPE=disk. What should I do for our dCache SE?
cheers
Steve
