Hi Christos ,
Both ports 2135 and 2170 return "Connection refused" to me at this
moment , which indicates that either the related services are not
running or a firewall returns RST packets for incoming connections to
those ports.
I would suggest that you upgrade to
http://grid-deployment.web.cern.ch/grid-deployment/RpmDir_i386-sl3/external/lcg-bdii-3.2.6-1_sl3.noarch.rpm
and try to manually start the service : execute /etc/init.d/lcg-bdii
restart . Take a look at the error messages , if any. Very often in the
directory /opt/lcg/bdii/var and its subdirs there are stale *.pid files
that prevent the service from starting.
Also in your CE check that your iptables -L looks like this :
iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
ACCEPT tcp -- anywhere anywhere state NEW

ACCEPT tcp -- anywhere anywhere state NEW
