Hi Preslav and Louis,
Yes, Louis was right: It is SL v3.0.3, not SLC v3.0.3 (i.e. Fermilab
version, not CERN version).
Preslav's list was almost complete:

It is missing openldap-clients.
When I tried to install a node with the LCG 2.4.0 CE, PX, and WN it told
me that lcg-bdii was missing but not going to be installed, so I added
"lcg-LCG-BDII" to the list of meta-targets. This still complained about
lcg-bdii not being installed, so I explicitly added "lcg-bdii" to the
list of meta-targets as well, and now it *seems* to be working (it is
busy installing now).
For the record, here are the RPMs I had to install before "install_node"
would work:
cd /system/uexport/SL303/SL/RPMS
rpm -Uvh perl-DBI-1.32-5.i386.rpm \
perl-CGI-2.81-88.7.i386.rpm \
perl-Time-HiRes-1.38-3.i386.rpm \
openldap-clients-2.0.27-17.i386.rpm \
tclx-8.3-92.2.i386.rpm
rpm -Uvh /usr/archive/perl-TermReadKey-2.20-12.i386.rpm
All of these except "perl-TermReadKey" were in the RPM distribution with
SL303.
I then executed:
/opt/lcg/yaim/scripts/install_node \
/usr/archive/lcg/conf/site-info.def \
lcg-CE-torque \
lcg-PX \
lcg-WN-torque \
lcg-LCG-BDII lcg-bdii
I'll report the outcome when it finishes.
Cheers,
Ian
