A first typo is in /etc/init.d/lcg-bdii file.
I had to change the existing BDII_CONF=/opt/lcg/bdii/var/lcg-bdii.conf
to the BDII_CONF=/opt/lcg/var/bdii/lcg-bdii.conf
The cron file /var/spool/cron/root contained the path to the old
lcg-bdii-update in /opt/lcg/libexec/. I changed it to the new one
located in /opt/lcg/bdii/sbin/ .
Then when i tried to run the lcg-bdii-update the following error occured:
Use of uninitialized value in substitution (s///) at
/opt/lcg/bdii/sbin/lcg-bdii-update line 65.
Now i've downgraded to the LCG-2.3.1 version
