Stephen, I also find it is useless to spam rollout on such instances.
ROC approved procedure
on that is publishing one's downtime though GOC DB, and sending a mail
through EGEE broadcast tool to VO managers and closing one's site,
the last optional action being closing one's site if needed.
I think that mailing to rollout is just a habit to get rid off, that
should not take long to fade hopefully.
