David,
With this you have opted to leave LCG, there has been no operational
guideline suggesting that R-GMA should be switched of purley because
it is a non authenticated SSL service.
You should mark the LESC site as in downtime since you are unable to
pass the critical tests or expect COD to raise tickets against you.
