Hello,
I made a stupid mistake. Changing the repository location back to 2_3_1 helps a lot.
The documentation is already pointing to 2_4_0 though, leading me to the problems I had. In fact all links to yaim documentation point to the 2_4_0 version. This should probably change.

Changing the repository location back to 2_3_1 helped here.
A new problem is that the java distribution has disappeared from the repository. Furthermore there is a hard dependency on a specific java version (j2sdk-1.4.2_04-fcs). The 2_4_0 documentation tells me to install java, but this leads to the installation of 1.4.2_08. I managed to get the older version though.

I am currently testing the installation of LCG2_3_1
