Hi again Maarten,
OK, let's do the right thing.
I was thinking of adding the suffix ia64 to our site name (ie HPTC-LCG2ia64).
The ldap base search name would be something like:
ldap://ice.prd.hp.com:2135 -b mds-vo-name=HPTC-LCG2ia64,o=grid
You won't see the ia64 version because i changed the bdii config to eliminate the note.
Do I have to request access to the GOCDB again for adding the new site ?
I still have the same cert.
Thanks for helping,
./MS

Hi Maniel,
a second CE must not act as a site GIIS, but in your case we then have
the problem that your site can not yet use a single "dataGridVersion"
for both CEs. We have these options:
1. Ignore the version mismatch for now and publish the IA-64 resources
along with the IA-32 resources (as a second CE and SE).
Since lcg20041217_1327_DecRel is fairly close to LCG-2_3_1 this may
not be such a bad idea.
2. The proper solution: publish the IA-64 site independently.
In that case, give us its site BDII address and the LDAP search base,
and we will add it to the all-sites zone. To have it picked up by the
daily tests, though, you must add it to the GOC DB as a separate site.
This matter seems to show another limitation of the information system:
a different "dataGridVersion" for a CE requires a whole new site...

I suppose you changed something, because I do not see that now.

No, it would mean your site did not show up in the test zone BDII.

Your site BDII is not publishing them.
