Hi Helen
this earlier message on the list might be relevant:
From Jenny Mindel
"As many of you know, being either on the Advisory Group or having
commented on previous drafts, a group of us have been developing
A Guide to Reviewing Evidence for HIA.
It's nearly ready! A few minor changes to be made, following the piloting
stage, then we send it to the peer-reviewers, then publish it.
First, is there anyone on this group who hasn't been involved in its
develoment and would be interested in peer-reviewing it, if those we asked
initially aren't able to? (A small amount of funding is available.)
Secondly, we are looking for existing reviews (brief or comprehensive) that
are not widely available (eg published as grey literature by a public
sector body conducting an HIA) and / or have not been peer-reviewed that we
could assess using the Guide and then, if of at least reasonable quality,
publish on the web alongside the reviewers' comments. Please let us know
of any you know about.
Thirdly, we are looking for people to conduct those appraisals. (A small
amount of funding is available.)
Please contact me (at this UCL address) if you want more information.
(NB to the Advisory Group - we'll send you the pdf of the post-pilot
finalish version when it's ready to send to the peer reviewers)
Regards,
Jenny
