We have had a letter saying there are no uplifts this year, any
increase is to be through QOF. The PCT say this is what was negotiated
with the new contract.
** There is no uplift on the global sum equivalent in the new GMS contract
but there are uplifts on some other areas; it comes to about 1.47% overall
for GMS practices.
Firstly - we are a PMS practice, so has anything of the sort been
agreed with respect to PMS budgets.
**As you know there are no national negotiations re PMS practices and you
are in the fortunate (!) position of being able to negotiate anything you
like wqith your PCT and vice versa. I have heard of anything from 0.1% to
3.225% being negotiated. Most PCTs are aiming for equivalence with GMS;
however, how they interpret equivalence is sometimes a mystery.
