I'm currently trying out SUSE (as Fedora Core became a bit too
bleeding-edge for comfort) and am very impressed. (Adrian has quietly
recommended it for years.)
You can do most things you would want to do with a computer using
Linux, but not everything. For example: connecting Palms is easy, but
not IPAQs. I can do everything I want and am largely unbothered by
malware. You pays your money and takes your choice.
